Discreet Trial Training

Discreet trial training is a type of teaching method that breaks longer tasks down into smaller steps to aide in learning. This can be as simple as teaching someone how to wash their hands step by step or teaching how to tie shoelaces. We always mix this up with natural environment training to gear therapy towards generalization of skills across different environments.

 
 
 
 

Discreet trial training

Daily living skills training focuses on teaching skills that may need to be used every day by our kids. Some examples are toilet training, getting dressed independently, bathing, and brushing teeth to name a few. These skills are incorporated in therapy to ensure independence for our children as they keep growing
